CONCERT ETIQUETTE FOR EVERYONE:
As Artists and Teachers, we strive to give the students the most professional quality experience possible, as part of the overall educational mission in our programs. Please help us to impress on everyone involved the importance of concert etiquette:
- Be respectful of other performers during the concert.
- Remain seated for the entire performance – if you must get up or return to your seat, please ONLY do so between pieces while the audience is applauding. Avoid applauding in between movements of a work of music; please hold your applause until the end of the entire work.
- Remain silent while ensembles/students are performing – video monitors in the lobby of the PAC as well as in the classrooms will broadcast the concert for your convenience.
- Please silence all electronic devices, and do not use them during the performance (i.e., texting, checking email).
- Please do not leave immediately when your child is done performing – we need to impart the right message about respect and commitment.
We are thrilled to be able to make music with all of your wonderfully talented children, and look forward to seeing you at the concert! :)
